Program Details
Our training program runs in 5 to 6-week intervals and is designed to help athletes of varying experience levels in the weight room become stronger, faster, more explosive, and les injury prone. With an emphasis on functional and larger muscle group lifts as well as plyometrics athletes can notice gains in their performance by the end of their first rotation. Basic lifting technique and the intensity of the program is designed to ramp up as athletes grow. This allows for both novice and experienced athletes to focus on improving over the long term. FAQS
Q: Can we just sign up for individual sessions?
A: In a word - no. SNAP FITNESS shuts down an entire portion of their gym to run these sessions and in order to keep the costs down and eliminate a scheduling nightmare players must commit to an entire program.
Q: What is different about these programs than just having players go to the gym?
A: These sessions are designed with volleyball players in mind. With any training program, it is essential to have expertise with the proper from but also having a program tailored to the specific sport being trained for. With this in mind makes these programs are ideal for young athletes who may not be experienced with the weight room and could be intimidated with just “going to the gym”.
Q: What is the Nutrition and Macro-Nutrient Tracking about?
A: Working out is only part of the equation - proper nutrition and recovery time is critical to building strong athletes. The goal of this is to help young athletes become more conscious of this and learn to properly fuel their bodies for maximum performance.
